busy day

Saturday was a busy day spent the day with very dear friends getting stuff ready for the NNNQG retreat in April. This is going to be the best retreat ever. Then it was off to see my mother and grandkids. Then I got to see my new niece, she is 2 weeks old. Today I am going to walmart for my mother, finish the book that I am reading, and quilt my art quilt over the rainbow. I might even do the laundry but no guarantees.

Kits

For our retreat is April one of my jobs was to pick out a pattern and fabric or a quilt kit for the retreat director, and two of my very dear friends who has helped with the retreat plans and mystery quilt. The pressure was on, but I was up for the challenge. I have all three kits and they are beautiful. Its going to be hard to let them go. The retreat director has picked out a quilt kit for me, I can't wait to see it.

Going to try again

Well it's been awhile since I have been on my blog, so I am going to try it again. Spent the day sewing with good friends.
